Michael Sims, resident of Costa Rica since 1976 is an artist and art educator. Michael designed and produced the line of jewelry, “Costa Rican Creatures,” and has taught handcraft workshops to the community of Tortuguero and expressive art workshops for at-risk teenagers in San José. She presently teaches art at the European School in Heredia.
La autora Michael Sims, residente en Costa Rica desde 1976, es artista y profesora de artes plásticas. Michael diseñó y produjo la línea de joyería “Criaturas de Costa Rica”, ha dado talleres de artesanía a la comunidad de Tortuguero y talleres de arte expresivo a adolescentes de alto riesgo de San José. Actualmente se desempeña como profesora de artes plásticas en la Escuela Europea ubicada en Heredia.
